My passion has always been to be a therapist/counselor even as a middle school student, which led me to pursue an education in that field. I completed my Bachelors degree at Central Washington University in Ellensburg, WA with a degree in Family Studies, and earned my Masters degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma, WA. As a Washington state licensed therapist, my licensure is as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
While working in community mental health since 2009 I encountered a wide range of challenges that clients were facing - both in couples and individual sessions. I truly enjoy working with clients to help them succeed in meeting their needs, wants and overall goals for their lives.
In addition to being a mental health therapist, I’m a wife, a mother of two young children, an avid softball player, an occasional sports(wo)man, and a lover of anything relating to DIY and craft projects.
